Use of the Certification Mark
How organisations certified or verified by RBA Registrars may display the certification mark.
Organisations certified by RBA Registrars as meeting the requirements of the relevant international management system standard may use the certification mark on stationery, brochures and other items relating to their certified activity, subject to the conditions in this guideline.
The Certification Marks of RBA Registrars are:
You will receive the mark for the standard on your certificate. The ISO 14064-1 mark identifies a verification, not a management system certification.

Artwork
RBA Registrars supplies certified clients with the certification mark artwork for the standard(s) on their certificate. Please request the files from us rather than copying them from elsewhere.
Where it may appear
Brochures, letterheads, envelopes, business cards, websites and other communication material, as set out in the table below.
Scope
If your certificate does not cover every product, service, site or location, anything showing the mark must not suggest that it does. Quote your certificate number so it can be independently verified.
Do not alter the mark
The mark cannot be altered or modified. It may be resized if its proportions are kept and every feature stays clearly legible, never below 20 mm wide and with clear space around it. Use only the supplied full-colour or single-colour artwork. Never stretch, recolour, rotate or add effects.
Management systems only
The certification marks apply only to management system certification, and the verification mark only to the verification statement it was issued with. Never put a mark on a product, or use it in any way that suggests product certification. It must not appear on laboratory test, calibration or inspection reports.
Protect the reputation
Do not use the mark in a way that could bring RBA Registrars or the certification system into disrepute or reduce public trust.
If your scope is reduced
Update all advertising and promotional material that refers to your certification so it reflects the reduced scope.
Suspension or withdrawal
Stop using the mark immediately and discontinue all material that refers to your certification, including packaging, signage and websites, as directed by RBA Registrars.

A statement should identify the certified organisation by brand or name, the type of management system, the applicable standard and RBA Registrars. For example: “Example Ltd’s quality management system is certified to ISO 9001 by RBA Registrars.”
Correct use is a contractual obligation
Correct use of the certificate and the certification mark is a contractual obligation and is checked at surveillance and recertification assessments. Misuse may lead to a request for correction and corrective action, suspension or withdrawal of certification, publication of the misuse and, if necessary, legal action.
